SO, i was really really excited to read this {
book}. the premise of the story is about a woman severely allergic to peanuts (amongst other things) and kills herself by a plate of them. or was it murder? intriguing right? i thought so, until i started actually reading it. i must say, i'm all for descriptive writing but do you really need to write for three pages to describe plane turbulence? really? i don't know if it was because a man wrote it and therefore the overly charged sexual nature was so prevalent, or the fact that the characters were just not likable, but i really didn't care after a certain point if it was murder or not. i had the book for two weeks, usually enough time to read if i like a book, but i only managed to get through 96 of the 335 pages. so i'm asking you dear internets, you want to read it and tell me the ending? was it murder? oh, and why the heck was the cops wife stuck in bed all the time? what was her reason? is she dead and he just imagines her there or is she just crazy? i would re-new the book but i can't since another poor soul has requested it, oh and i just can't sit and read another 12 pages about what a house looks like. descriptive schriptive. bleh.
alright, come on i know
one of you will do it. brandi? abby? let me know how it goes. maybe you have more tolerance than i do.....
