they're back!
SO, today was the first day of school (hallelujah, hallelujah!) and i was pleased to see the kids so excited to go. unfortunately, michelle only had her teacher conference this morning and won't officially go to school until next monday (sigh. soooo close!) but, for her it still was her first day. i must say, i really don't understand these mom's who are crying over their kids heading off to school. for me, it's so exciting. it means they are growing and learning and to me that's just not sad. it's wonderful. (and it also helps to know that i won't have to deal with screaming, fighting and whining for a whole 8 hours. that doesn't make me sad in the slightest!)
