SO, our air conditioner doesn't work. and the last 4 days we have had unseasonably HOT weather. like yesterday, it was 94 degrees with 64% humidity. YUCK!
can i tell you the lovely ways we have tried to stay cool while waiting for the ridiculous repair men to show up? let's see...
-take cold showers
-have perpetual wet hair
-fans constantly on us
-lie as still as we can on the floor
-dream of the cold snow
-dream of dying
-drink as much cold stuff as possible
-eat as much cold stuff as possible
-avoid cooking
-sit in our car with the air cranked to the highest setting
-traveling to stores that have to most amount of freezer space. eg. costco (to stand in front of the wonderfully cold refrigeration)
-standing in front our own freezer for short periods of time
-did i mention dream of dying?
i have been waiting. waiting now for a day and a half with no result of a repair man to come and fix our unit. THAT IS JUST MEAN.
i'm grumpy, my kids are grumpy, and the mister is grumpy. don't come and visit us. we won't like you right about now.
