my mom and elise SO, my mom came to visit and be here for elise's baptism. she has remarkably been able to attend all her grandchildren's baptisms. there was a time in my life that i would have dreaded the visit from my mom. so many fights have ensued from those visits. but as time has marched on, my mom and i have come to a unspoken agreement to let by-gones be by-gone. we have come to an understanding of just loving one another as a mother and daughter. to leave the disagreements aside and accept each other for the good qualities we each respect and admire.
my mom came into our home and went to work without asking. she did dishes, entertained children, baked cookies and even decorated cakes. she is an amazing person that is such a hard worker. i'm glad that we can have a relationship. i'm glad that she is my mother. she left today, and our home is quiet without her. we will surely miss her....
