SO, when we moved here 4 and a half years ago and i was pregnant with michelle, i used to take elise to the local blockbuster and get movies for her. we ended up one week picking up a couple of barbie movies (and back then there were only a couple). elise fell in love with them and from then on any time a new barbie movie came out (which is ALL the time, mind you), we would have to rent and or buy it. unfortunately there are a million barbie movies now. really. a million. and unfortunately we OWN EVERY SINGLE ONE. sigh. this week brought us yet another one. the three musketeers. which really isn't three because it's barbie and the three, so really it's the four musketeers, but whatever. it's still annoying. i got it for them last night, we popped up some popcorn on the stove, put out the blanket and munched and watched. wesley is even old enough now to have his own bucket of popcorn and he sat for a whopping 5 minutes to watch as well. the movie of course is absolutely absurd and ridiculous. what do you expect from a barbie movie? at least this one wasn't a musical and tim curry does the evil characters voice. okay, mattel we all know you want more money then the crap load you're already making from the dolls, but could you give me a break please. just wait a year before putting another movie out okay? PLEASE? oh, and if you ever want to "borrow" a barbie movie and "accidentally" lose it, feel free to ask....

movie review and our most annoying tradition...
