SO, i may not have the greatest affection towards the human race or be little miss social but when i received a call at 10:30 in the morning from a friend to tell me that they would take my kids off my hands for the afternoon in hopes of not finding me on the evening news and said friend thinking "wow, i know that person." well, that's when i know i have saints for friends. i mean, who but a fellow hermit mother knows when enough is enough in the child-rearing department and when you desperately need some alone time? who else cares enough about the welfare of my children that they would risk the insanity herself to avoid another mother the chance of facing prison? my very thoughtful, brave friend, that's who. cookies and a thank you just seem to feeble for me, but i thank you just the same. my night was quiet with no arguments or fights. * sigh of relief.* so, my dear friend who i NEVER hang out with, thank you from the bottom of my heart. i am truly forever in your debt... no really. FOREVER. [and i know you'll hold that over my head too :)]
