elise and i went and had our nails and toes done. it was her first time and she was quite excited. we then went on to do some shopping at the mall and then had dinner together at chevy's. i'm starting to find that elise is the little lady. our conversations are getting better and i'm finding it hard to let go of the little girl in her. but, with each cut of that "baby string" i find another amazing quality in her. she is just getting to big in my humble opinion. letting go and growing up are hard jobs.
showing off her nails.
i will refrain from the foot shots since
i have a serious aversion to feet.
they are just. so. gross.

the mister and the little ones spent the afternoon at the park. they had invited a friend to come along but she ended up falling into the pond. i have to say, none of my kids have ever done that and it was pretty surprising to find her hopping out soaking wet. luckily, she wasn't too upset and just asked to go home. kids are funny like that i guess.
