SO, for date night last night we went to see macgruber. holy buckets is pretty much what i'll say. there were just so many wrong things with this movie yet you found yourself laughing uncontrollably with each new scenario. i really wish that i had been more prepared with the graphic violence (it seemed to be right on par with sweeny todd. seriously.) and the vast majority of potty humor (i really don't find that funny.) i should have realized that this was a movie and not a SNL skit so they could be far more crude then on t.v. duh. i don't know what i was thinking. val kilmer and ryan phillippe were the best characters in the whole movie. they just were so funny and really did have the best lines. especially ryan's character interacting with macgruber. soooo hilarious. anyway, for my mormon friends, you might want to pass. anyone else be warned, the throat ripping is gross and so are the poop jokes. yuck.
