what? no drug induced blog post?

SO, it seems i made it out alive. all went well with the procedure. the surgeon said that she couldn't see the growths that they had found on the ultra sound because the lining of my uterus was so thick. which is not a good sign since i had just finished yet another week of hemorrhaging prior to the surgery. they did a D&C instead to remove all the lining and any growths that would have been hiding in the there as well. this will hopefully for a while relieve the constant heavy bleeding and if anything does decide to grow back it will be easier to spot next time. the good news is, is that i'm in absolutely no pain. i haven't had to take any pain medicine at all. i'm quite surprised since all the doctors and nurses i spoke with before hand made it sound like i was going to be hurting for quite awhile. i mean they prescribed me percocet for heavens sake. so now i can save that lovely little gem of a drug for something really useful, like when i get {cluster headaches}. other than being swollen up and my eyes looking like that of an asian person and having bloating in my abdomen that looks like a football is in my belly, i'm doing fine. i'm still taking it easy for sure. i'm listening to my doctor and not lifting wesley for the full 14 days that they suggested and i'm allowing myself to rest as much as possible, it's just really nice to not be in any pain like i was expecting. so that's that. thanks for all your well wishes and sentiments. they were greatly appreciated and i know they helped make for an easy surgery!
i better close, my daughter is eating another {peanut butter and cheese sandwich} next to me and it's grossing me out...
