SO, have you seen this movie? what did you think? i had heard so many things about this movie being innovative and controversial and so forth. uh, really? how is that? man, i was pretty bored watching it. in fact, i fell asleep the last 10 minutes of it. that's just how enthralling it was. i mean the whole did he/didn't he really wasn't intriguing. in fact, i really didn't care. i know i should have but the characters were so bland that i wasn't emotionally connected enough. and the mother's reaction wasn't a shock either. maybe it was because i had heard so much about the plot that it couldn't be. or maybe (and i'm pretty sure this is it) it's because it was so freaking boring. as you can see, i didn't like it. 
now have you seen this movie? was anyone else ultimately freaked out with the sheer amount of sex scenes with a 15 year old boy? (yes, i know he really wasn't 15, he was 18 but he really really looked 15) i kept thinking to myself, how is this movie NOT a porno? and why the heck did this movie get so many awards? i find it pathetic that a man could not move on with his life because of an affair he had with a woman twice his age. and i find it so weird that she seemed so ho hum about the whole relationship and he was obsessed. like freaky obsessed. i just thought this movie was dumb.
