SO, my girls have begun to have a new found love for roller skating. this makes me happy because i too was a roller girl growing up. every friday night found me hanging out at the great skate with my friends, totally tearing up the floor. i was good. really. the great skate brought me many firsts as a child. my first birthday party, first hanging out sans parents, first dance with a boy and my first time ever seeing a picture of jon bon jovi and wondering why on earth my friends thought he was cute. i personally thought he looked like a girl. whatever. that was the 80's. (which isn't so far from now if you think about it. justin bieber?)
