SO, i decided to stay up and watch this movie friday night instead of going to bed. bad choice. not only did i spend more time with my face in a pillow than i did watching the movie, i was exhausted saturday morning. i am legend was a good movie but i really hate horror/suspense movies and boy is this a suspenseful movie. i almost peed my pants about twenty times throughout the movie and i now have nightmares that will probably last for ages. the first night, i had to keep the hall light on to go to bed. no joke. and when i'm alone in the car i have found myself frantically looking in the back seat for zombies on more than one occasion. pathetic. yes, i know. i guess it was worth watching because um,
hello it has will smith but if they are seriously considering a {
prequel} i think that's just daft.
SO, for family movie night we watched the fantastic mr. fox. i LOVED this movie because it had wes anderson written all over it. (and i LOVE me some wes anderson) the little subtleties he comes up with just makes me laugh. and the way they used the word cuss in place of any curse words was so clever in my opinion. so clever in fact, i totally want to implement that into my own vocabulary just because i find it so funny. most of the voices are by some of my favorite indie actors (minus george clooney. although he recently has grown on me.) which made it more entertaining. this is such a fun family movie, totally worth seeing.
