the last reunion...

SO, this year was the very last time we would be able to attend the {annual NICU reunion}.  I just took michelle and wesley this year and we didn't stay very long (only 30 minutes)  but we were able to say our goodbyes and thank again the many nurses and doctors that saved my babies lives.  this year they had baskin robins ice cream come and do a sundae table.  my kids were in heaven.  what a way to end a tradition.  i will miss going to these picnics. i will miss seeing these children grow from year to year.  my kids in particular looked so grown up in the pictures.  it is bitter sweet.  i'm grateful that they can grow up, but it seems to be happening so fast.  such is life, i suppose.

as you can see, the ice cream was a hit.
