annual NICU reunion...

SO, every year in june the NICU has a reunion. we started going the year after michelle was born and have been going ever since. these doctors and nurses are already angels in my eyes and then they put together the whole picnic on their own time. how dedicated is that? most years it has consisted of a bbq and hanging out talking to other families. sometimes they have a face painter,they always give out t-shirts with the reunion year on them but it's mostly pretty minimal. this year however with the rain, they decided to go all out. they had a bouncy castle since the grass was mostly a mud pit and arts and crafts available for anyone to do. my mom was able to go with us, and it was the best reunion so far. (i think it mostly was due to the fact that the weather was a wonderful 70 degrees.) i can't thank these people enough for saving my two babies, they will always be heroes in my eyes.
