it's official and other movie reviews...

SO, that's it people.  i have finally seen twilight.

OH.MY.GOSH.

it was absolute pure torture. how on earth could people enjoy this movie?  really.  i honestly just don't understand the mania. people had warned me of it's stupidity but  it was all i could do to not cry from having to watch such an asinine movie all by myself with no one else to mock it with me.  it was just so...

OH. MY. GOSH.

i don't think i have any words to accurately describe the waste of time this movie is.

or the sheer hatred i have for it.

i ended up laughing through half and then cringing through the rest.  the dialog, the special effects,  THE ACTING.  so so so bad.  who let's their boyfriend vampire be so controlling that he has to literally buckle you into your seat?  oh, and how many of you wanted edward to just keep sucking the life out of bella to put her out of her miserable-everyone loves me-life?  uh, just terrible.

if only they would have made {THIS} version of twilight.  that is a movie i would have spent money on to see in the theater.

and i would have spent money on {THIS} one and {THIS} one too.

now, i get to have a twilight saga marathon this friday with an awesome friend who will do me the honor of helping me mock this horrific series.  modified drinking game and all.

okay, bring on the hate mail.

on to another movie...

now this is a movie more my speed.  "from the director of superbad" is totally miss leading because this isn't some sort of raunchy teen movie.  it's a movie where people act like normal people and say things that normal people would say and react to situations like normal people react.  it was very well made and sweet-natured.

this is the second movie where kirsten stewart shows us that she really can indeed act.  (the other being the runaways)  it amazes me that she can be good in these movies yet absolutely painful to watch in twilight.  maybe it goes to show just how bad the twilight script really was.  who knows.

but you should see adventureland.  i loved it and was so much better then i thought it would be.  it's good. good. good.
