eventful week and michelle's obsession....

how cute is this outfit? i just couldn't justify $95 for two shirts...

SO, this week has been eventful. we had one child (michelle) throw up in the car. it was a never ending volcano. so gross. one child (wesley) practicing his walking while holding a metal stick you use to play a musical triangle, then falling down and jamming his tooth back and up into his head. followed by lot's of blood and an emergency visit to the ped's dentist. poor kid. and finally a nightmare of a saturday with wanting to take a hammer to my head. but now onto michelle's obsession...

we finally made it...

SO, you all know my childhood obsession with unicorns. well, michelle's is much more practical than that. she is completely, utterly, mesmerized with motorcycles. that's right, motorcycles. has been since she was two. she is so crazy about it that she will count how many she sees on the road when we are driving, try and find as many different colored ones as she can and when we are out and about she has been known to stop in her tracks and look at me and say "wait, do you hear that? i think it's a motorcycle!" i couldn't be prouder, and neither could her grandpa.

look at how happy she is!

since i've grown up with a dad who at multiple times has had up to 12 motorcycles at a time and religiously goes to harley week in laughlin nevada, i'd say she is carrying on the family tradition. i think it would be hilarious if she owned a bike when she gets older. but anyway, she has been asking for a while where motorcycles come from. i decided it was time to take her to biker heaven. we went in the late afternoon to the harley-davidson store and the look on michelle's face was priceless. we spent an hour and a half looking at all the bikes. she wanted to ride one so badly, poor little girl. if only her grandpa was here to indulge her. we took many a picture and in the end i had to drag her out of there promising another return. i am so encouraging this obsession. it's better than some stupid unicorn, right?

my girls. michelle was so in her element.
