wesley's little braceOK, so it's not as bad as forest gump. but wesley finally got his braces. he has hyper mobility in his ankles making it hard for him to have enough strength to stand or walk. along with the braces came a hospital grade tennis shoe that are far more expensive than need be. like $85 expensive. i'm grateful that they were included with the braces price. the funny thing is, wesley started taking baby steps 5 days BEFORE we got his braces and he seems to do better walking without the shoes. his therapist today said to scrap the shoes and only wear the braces. i'm hoping that his walking will continue to progress. he gets so happy to be up walking around. so come on bubba, you're eighteen months now. let's get moving....
