SO, today is the release of the carpenters 40/40 album.it's been 40 years since their signing with the music industry and
a compilation of 40 songs on a cd.
i have always loved the carpenters,
even in my most gothic phase you could find me listening
to them right next to shriekback.
i have forever had a soft spot in my heart for karen.
her voice was just incredible and even in her most frail stage of her body her voice never wavered.
that is nearly unheard of and
just shows the immense talent she had.
i only wish she new how much strength it was.
you can be sure i'll be listening to them this weekend
and dreaming of karen singing with the multitudes of angels.
that i'm sure has lifted her spirit to greatness.
