movie review...

SO, i REALLY wanted to not like this movie. i'm not a fan of renee zellweger. after she became plastic i just lost interest in her as an actress. anyway, i really didn't want to like it, but it's just to darn cute. there's absolutely nothing special about this movie, nothing clever or out of the cookie cutter romcom's formula and it's utterly predictable but it's a fun watch on a saturday night when you just want something light hearted to put you in a good mood before going to bed. plus, it certainly doesn't hurt that harry connick jr. is in it. he's just hot and totally makes up for the lack of charm the movie's missing. so, i guess i would recommend it as a guilty pleasure. :)
