"i look soooo pretty.... except for my face."
poor kid. she said it so matter of factly, like it didn't bother her that her face looked horrible. she's at this golden age where her looks don't phase her. blissfully ignorant. nice.
oh, and when people ask her what happened she replies:
"elise ran me over with the stroller." hee hee hee hee.
also, if you see her at all, please don't ask her what happened to her face. she's starting to get annoyed. we had to explain that people are just concerned but i don't think she's buying it anymore....
and on to a great thoughtful song for the weekend.
It's not that unusual
when everything is beautiful
it's just another
ordinary miracle today
the sky knows when it's time to snow
don't need to teach a seed to grow
it's just another
ordinary miracle today
life is like a gift, they say
wrapped up for you everyday
open up, and find a way
to give some of your own
isn't it remarkable?
like every time a raindrop falls
the birds in winter have their fling
and always make it home by spring
when you wake up everyday
please don't throw your dreams away
hold them close to your heart
'cause we are all a part
of the ordinary miracle
do you want to see a miracle?
it seems so exceptional
that things work out after all
the sun comes out and shines so bright
and disappears again at night
it's just another
ordinary miracle today
it's just another
ordinary miracle today
