thanksgiving...

SO, today i awoke with a grateful heart. i've been so livid lately with the sheer amount of stupidity from the mister's job that i've lost sight of what's really important. my husband has a job. my family has a house and clothes. we have food to eat and we have love for one another. the basic, simple, joyful things that make life worth living.
i have the thanksgiving meal down to a art form. i make all the side dishes the day before and leave the stuffing, potatoes and ham (we didn't do turkey) for the day of. i wash up all the pots and pans before dinner leaving only dinner dishes to do. we have dinner at 1pm and then we go for our traditional movie out. the day is relaxed and lovely.
