SO, awhile back michelle played out in the back yard and got bit by something. the mister thought it was just a bug bite and told her to leave it alone. that was on a friday and on monday afternoon i heard the mister say "why don't you show mommy that bite." one look told me that it was seriously infected and that she needed to go to the night time care. i couldn't believe that the mister and michelle didn't say anything to me. it could have been a tick bite or poisonous. what were they thinking? a trip to the doctor and it was a confirmed infected spider bite. we got lucky this time because it only stayed localized. unfortunately for everyone in the house we had to pop the bite twice a day and put a hot compress on it. it was disgusting. oh, soooo disgusting. i've never seen so much white ooze in all my life. gross. thankfully it's all healed up and the screaming and crying of pain has ceased in my home. at least from michelle that is.
