SO, my son is a magnet for drama. with half his body not functionally properly he tends to have lots (and lots) of accidents. in the last four months he has had three major head wounds. two on the side of his eye (that were in the exact same spot) and just this last sunday on his forehead. seems while in the nursery at church he wanted something on a table, tried to pull it down and the table landed right above his eye brow. this was the worst one by far. the gash was so deep that when he blinked you could see the muscles blinking his eye. ew ew ew ew ew. he had to have a double layer of stitches. 3 underneath and 5 on top.
sigh. i guess i should be grateful that it doesn't really phase him. he did cry while getting the stitches but after it was over he was back to his normal spastic self. i now have a dreadful feeling that my kids and i will be spending quite a bit of time in the ER for the next year. yeah, that's just great.
