i knew i forgot one...

SO, has anyone seen this movie?  i thought it was well made, and for the first time i thought kirsten stewart was actually good.  she played joan jett perfectly.  it had the same vibe to me as trainspotting.  the whole plot was terribly depressing.  i find it interesting that joan jett herself was executive producer since it portrayed her and everyone else actually in such a bad light.  there were no redeeming qualities from any of them.  and while dakota fanning did fantastic, i still found it hard to watch her having sex and doing drugs.  i realize that she is the same age as cherie currie was at the time they started the band but it really weirded me out.  i left this movie feeling totally hopeless and feeling how horrible life could be if you lived like that.  no wonder they did all those crazy, messed up stuff.
