SO, let's see if this works. hmm. not really. whatever.
i went into this movie thinking it was going to be a comedy. it is ryan reynolds after all. (and i DO love me some ryan reynolds) but this movie was utterly depressing. nothing was what i thought it was going to be. even though the ending was i guess happy, i just thought it was sad. anyway, i really don't know if i'd recommend it or not.
our family is pretty much obsessed with avatar. the cartoon that is. we own every season and we've seen each episode many times. it's funny, clever and exciting. not this movie. i think it would be hard to make a movie from something so iconic. it's near impossible actually. elise loved it regardless just because it's aang. i lost interest about ten minutes in. i really wouldn't waste your time. it's dumb.
