SO, wesley has been begging for a cowboy hat for some time now. i kept putting it off wondering if the phase would pass. seems that it hasn't. today i finally gave in and said we could get one. while wandering around target, i couldn't find anything. i tried the toy section, the mens apparel, little boys area and finally i made my way to accessories. lo and behold, a cowboy hat. for women mind you, but a hat none the less. wesley's excitement grew and i checked the price. $12.99. ouch. that's an awful lot of money for a something that will most likely get destroyed sooner rather than later. i went to take it back and i noticed the price on the shelf read $3.24. what? i looked at what it said "tan cowboy hat". yes, that's what i had. the skew number matched and i thought "fantastic, i'll get it if it's for three bucks."
i went to check out and of course it rang up at $12.99. after explaining about the sign and even showing the manager, lucky me got it for the whopping three bucks and change. NICE. i love when stores make mistakes.
