SO, our christmas tree is looking pretty sad this year. want to know why? it's because i have a 22 month old boy who likes to destroy things and i couldn't deal with broken ornaments that i inherited from my great-great-great grandmother. (that she brought over from czechoslovakia mind you) two cheap walmart ornaments have already been broken just in the decorating so i know that i made the right choice. at this point, i've decided that this year we are keeping it this simple. nothing else is going up and all i keep thinking is "wow, this is going to be the easiest clean-up EVER!" hope all are having a cheery festive season. i'm going to see my girls tomorrow play mary (elise) and an angel (michelle) in the christmas story at the ward party. it's going to be so swell. (it would be even better if i didn't have to decorate or clean up or cook and bring food or most importantly LEAVE THE HOUSE. but whatever.)
